DM'S SCOUTING JOB
I really don't understand if Manchester United manager has added scouting role to his managerial duties.
Manchester
United manager David Moyes watched as Champions League opponent Olympiakos
remained unbeaten in 23 games in the Greek league this season, defeating
Panionios 2-0 on Wednesday.
Andreas
Samaris scored from a free kick in the 11th minute and Marko Scepovic headed in
the second goal seven minutes later.
Second-place
PAOK hammered OFI 5-0 at home but remained 14 points adrift of the leaders, who
have dropped points only twice.
Moyes was
at Karaiskaki Stadium near Athens before his team faces the Greek side in the
Champions League last 16 on Feb. 25 and March 19.
"I
wasn't trying to hide anything from the Manchester manager because the two
games are totally different, in terms of quality and motivation,"
Olympiakos coach Michel Gonzalez said.
"There
are some things that Moyes will have missed tonight like the crowd atmosphere.
But he'll just have to wait till the night of the game, so I'm sorry to
disappoint our guest," he added, laughing.
We at MMT really wish Manchester United well in this struggling period.
